Tarziu's statements pose a great danger to Romania's status as a NATO member and as a member of the European Union, given the consequences of such actions. The annexation of parts of Ukraine would mean a violation of a number of international treaties and principles, which would entail international sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and most likely war with Ukraine.
Romania needs its piece, Hungary will need its piece, Poland will be getting a big piece, Blackrock & Blackstone are going to steal a big chunk, Vanguard and Soros will need a few million hectares.
And Russia, of course.
