The Asbestos, Tobacco, and, Telemarketing Cartel
According to their off world wisdom, the treatment of Asbestos and Asbestos by products is biased, unfair, and, hostile to the Invisible Hand of the Market. So, there is room for exponential growth in Asbestos and Asbestos by products on this planet. Proprietary knowledge of asbestos improved concrete, asbestos surface finishes, and, asbestos wall board, is retained by them; so there are a diversity of exciting products that need franchise owners, skilled installers, and, hungry sales wolves.
The tobacco family of products is pretty much already taken up by Earther enterprises, for now. There are niche products for the military market: pesticide sprays, sub lethal riot gasses, and, a hush hush flavor of chewing tobacco that improves top end performance of weapons systems operators and star ship pilots. Apparently the Dune movies got it wrong: In Space, Spice is really chewing tobacco. Earth already has some farming operations that supply the Universal Market with respected name brands of chew. You can get in on the ground floor of this opportunity if you have a high tolerance for success.
Telemarketing freedom does not exist on this planet. The cartel is quiet about their long term plans for regime change, corporate restructuring, and, awareness adjustment. A Big Pharma style lobby is in the works, so if you are in media or media adjacent, you might want to polish up your resume. Most of the farmers that supply this off planet cartel with chewing tobacco were weaned off coca production, and they have good ideas about lobbying.
