So This Happened 28/02/24

Here's a bunch of nonsense that happened:

Kellogg's CEO finds himself in warm milk after suggestion that the peasants should save money by...wait for it...

Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick advised shoppers chalking up more of their paychecks to soaring grocery bills than they have in the past three decades to just eat cereal instead.

“The cereal category has always been quite affordable, and it tends to be a great destination when consumers are under pressure,” Pilnickan said in an interview with CNBC last week.

“If you think about the cost of cereal for a family versus what they might otherwise do, that’s going to be much more affordable.”

When Kellogg's mascot Tony the Tiger was asked what he thought of his CEO's suggestion that people should eat cereal for dinner in order to save money, Tony told CNBC reporter, "That's Gerrrrrrrreat!"

Young people do not care about climate change:

The poll, conducted by the CRC Research for 85 Fund and reported on by Daily Mail, found that under half of people aged 18-34 would be willing to pay $10 a month to prevent a supposed climate catastrophe.

It wasn't all bad news though. Although young people rejected the idea of paying in order to correct climate change, they still said they believed in other made up ideas, like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and transparency in government.

Here's some happy news from Madagascar:

The Indian Ocean island's senate approved the law which will allow for chemical, and in certain cases, surgical castration of those found guilty of raping a minor.

In Madagascar you'll get your balls chopped off if you touch a minor. In Canada, you'll get 5 years in prison for misgendering a child rapist. Time to check out home prices in Madagascar!

  1. The problem with Madagascar is that fuel prices are infuriatingly high.
