You're looking at about 300,000 public sector workers. If it takes 4 private sector workers to sustain 1 public worker, then that's in the area of 1.2 million private sector workers.
Can this even be right?
I mean, according to this search engine I found called GOOGLE, there are approx 3 million Provincial public workers across Canada. And there are 300,000 Federal slugs.
That means there are about 3.5 million federal and provincial workers. If it takes 4 private sector workers to support 3.5 million non-productive workers, that would mean we would need about 14 million private sector jobs to keep this charade going.
And how big is our workforce?
20.5 million.
And there are 1.2 million unemployed.
And 35,000 prisoners.
I'm obviously missing something here because this just can't be.

Public sector workers eagerly go to fight in Ukraine. Those that run away, are easy for the press gang to find.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fantastic idea. We need to make it happen.
DeleteI am glad you asked. Thank you for the opportunity to bring attention to this pressing social issue, Mayor. Those anti-tank mines do not get planted by themselves. Upon receiving a crate of grenades, you should check for freshness, and double check the expiry date. Our civil servants know this.
ReplyDeleteAs for those grenades, every third pin should be taken out and tested for proper lubrication. I insist on it!
