Certainly one of the best Human Resources training documentaries on the internet. And, certainly does nothing to undermine the faith of people in NATO, whatever that is. Certainly brings a smile and evokes happy memories in all my friends who have Canadian Forces experience.

The Age of Aquarius

1.9 The ninth house. Communal ideas. Philosophy, Higher education.

The natural ruler of the ninth house is Sagittarius. The affairs of this house are of little interest to Capricorns. Only a few pay attention to matters of this house. For the adept or enlightened Capricorn, this is the house where the roots of failure of their plots and schemes are laid down. For the Capricorn, Laws manifest as regulations administered by incompetent and corrupt officials; Philosophies manifest as over complicated word salads served with bitter dressing; Higher education is where the rich send their dullard spawn to be kept away from the grown ups. The adept Capricorn approaches the affairs of this house with a hidden purse of bribe money and sinecures of no-work jobs. Bah.

The State Religion is ruled by this house. Generally, State Religions are the cultural institutions that co-exist with the State, and lubricate the machinery of communal existence. The definitions and roles of the State Religion are fluid and varies across time and place, so a crisp description is elusive. Which is typical of the mushy logic employed by Sagittarius which has natural rulership of this phenomena. Now we exist in that segment of time when people think that Scorpio rules this arena, when actually Libra is now in charge. During this period of chaos, open conflict, and secrets revealed, the wise Capricorn is encouraged to take advantage of the weakness of others in order to secure lasting advantage.

During the Age of Aquarius, the assigned ruler of the ninth house is Libra. Despite propaganda that Libra is a harmonious sign, fond of beauty and taking delight in simple pleasures, the truth is that Libra is a manifestation of the war goddess Athena, along with her chum Nike. Libra is in a state of moving towards equilibrium, and rarely gets there unless there is some sensible Capricorn around to pull tight the cords on the corset of reality. The realization that there is a State Religion will be made aware to the ignorant masses, and that this will be defined in some sort of conflict between good and evil, where we are good and they are evil. Typical Libra simplification, of course. Libra is also known as having champagne tastes on a beer budget. Those institutions in the transition that have wealth will be looted, and the aggrandizement of these assets will be of interest to a discerning Capricorn with an eye to millennium financial planning. Those that survive, and those that rise up, will have elements of spectacle, be well dressed, and constantly hunting for sugar daddy (a role which naturally falls to Scorpio, conveniently.
